Learn how to plant lavender in a pot. We provide the lavender (several varieties to choose from with sweet culinary English or strong scented intermedia), the correct soil mix and amendments, and your pot to take home.
Learn from the expert here at the farm how we have learn the secret to growing lavender in Georgia. We call it a miracle, since lavender is a Mediterranean plant and hates our rains, high humidity, and long summers. This is a beginner class for the simple gardener. We have a more advanced class for those looking for a more in depth look at cultivating lavender.

Did you know that youcan even cook with the culinary English variety of lavender to jazz up almost any recipe.
Class lasts for 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the group and how many questions we have at the end.
While learning we will be serving Lavender Lemonade. Yummy!
*We will have extra lavender plants (varieties and our special soil mix available for sale at this time for purchase. Size of lavender is 4” perfect for planting.

*Once you pick your date we cannot change your reservations. So check your schedule and set your calendar for an exciting experience. Our class maximum participants is 10. (If we do not have a minimum of 5 participants that will be the only time we will have to cancel and issue refunds).
*Advanced Registration is Required. No refunds due to this is a class and materials are needed to be purchased ahead of time and seating is limited to make sure all are comfortable. This is a Rain or Shine event.
Dress:Be sure to dress appropriately for outside weather. We recommend to wear closed toe shoes. Gardening gloves are recommended to bring, since we will be playing in the dirt.
In case of rain -We have the barn overhang with two tents to keep you dry. Be sure though to bring an umbrella, since the barn area is 100 feet from the driveway. We will have all your material down at the barn.
